Pieced entirely by hand from a rich collection of vintage and vintage-inspired cotton prints — calicoes, florals, checks, and solids in warm earth tones of rust, brown, cream, gold, and indigo — this full midi skirt carries the spirit of generations of quilters who believed that beauty belongs in everyday life.

At the center front, a hand-stitched cross-stitch sampler panel takes center stage. Rendered in the Pennsylvania Dutch folk tradition, it features lovebirds, blooming roses, hearts, and a German verse — a tender reminder that the things we make with our hands carry meaning long after the thread is knotted.

The hem is finished with a gathered ruffle adding a soft, romantic sweep to the silhouette. A drawstring waist makes it as comfortable as it is beautiful.
